The Career Coaching Process

This page provides an outline of my career coaching process, although if you decide you would like to work together, we will develop a fully customized plan that focuses on just the areas important to you. 

Step #1: Clarify
First, we’ll take some time to help you clarify what you want out of the next stage of your life and/or career, and we’ll use that clarity to set concrete coaching goals. This is generally a very enjoyable experience that produces new insights, expanded options, and clear goals to guide our work together.

Step #2: Strategize
Next, we’ll explore how you can best use your strengths and resources to get to where you want to go. During this phase, we may discover untapped strengths, unrealized resources, and a greater appreciation of all that you have available to help you on your journey.

Step #3: Take Action
And then we’ll develop and implement a plan to get from here to there. We’ll figure out what it will take, work together on any practical or personal challenges standing in your way, and set you on a path to achieve your most important aspirations for your life and career.

Step #4: Experience Results
This is the best part of the process: watching your dreams become a reality step by step. I’ve had coaching clients go from jobs they hated to jobs they love, achieve pay increases of over 20%, and redefine existing roles to be more successful at them.
